IMMORTABLE -イモータブル-, created by SyanYuu, launched on August 14, 2026 in Japan as a free single-player psychological card game. Players sit at a mysterious table with gods and yokai, trying to read their opponents with a hand of only six cards.
The underlying rules are deliberately compact, but every card carries a special ability and each character approaches the game differently. The free release includes a short Story Mode alongside a much more demanding 50-Win Streak Mode.

Release Announcement, PV, and IMMORTABLE Gameplay

Six Cards, One Choice, Then the Gong Decides the Duel
Each match starts with six cards. The player chooses one, places it on the field, and rings the gong to resolve the confrontation against the opponent.
Under the basic rules, the higher number wins and awards two Victory Points. Every card also has a unique ability, however, so choosing the largest value is not automatically the optimal play.
Individual opponents follow different card-playing tendencies. Learning those habits, anticipating the next move, and matching the right number with the right effect form the game's central prediction layer.
A run is considered cleared with either a win or a draw. The cumulative scoring system only adds points from successfully cleared attempts rather than carrying every failed run into the total.
A Short Story Mode and a 50-Win Endurance Challenge
Story Mode is designed to take around 15 minutes or more. unityroom separately categorizes the experience at roughly 30 minutes, meaning actual completion time may increase depending on losses and how cautiously a player approaches each match.
There is only one ending after clearing, so replayability is not built around collecting branching conclusions. Once the story is finished, the focus shifts toward understanding the cards and becoming more consistent against each opponent.
That is where 50-Win Streak Mode comes in. Maintaining 50 consecutive victories turns small mistakes into much larger risks and asks players to apply what they learned over a substantially longer run.
The two modes therefore use the same core system for different goals: one offers a compact introduction, while the other functions as a mastery challenge.
The Psychological Element Comes from Reading Opponent Patterns
IMMORTABLE's psychological-game label is tied directly to character behavior. Opponents do not all play their cards the same way, so a strategy that works against one character may not be equally effective against another.
Special card effects add another variable. Players have to consider numerical value, the ability attached to the card, the opponent's likely choice, and the current score within the same decision.
Because IMMORTABLE is entirely single-player, the mind-game aspect does not come from bluffing another human. Instead, it asks players to recognize patterns in characters controlled by the game.
The matches are wrapped in a supernatural setting populated by gods and yokai, giving the otherwise concise card rules a distinct visual identity.
Browser, Smartphone, and Windows Offer Different Ways to Play
The browser version is available free through unityroom, with no installer required. Smartphone support is also listed, although the page advises trying a PC if the game does not run correctly in the device's browser.
For Windows, itch.io distributes a ZIP file of approximately 64 MB. Installation only requires extracting the archive and launching the EXE.
BOOTH carries another official Windows download at approximately 64.3 MB, along with the press kit and supporter edition.
Controls are primarily mouse-based. Cards are grabbed by holding the left mouse button and moved onto the field, while normal buttons use a left click. Pressing TAB opens or hides the volume controls.
Japanese and English Are Supported from Launch
IMMORTABLE supports Japanese and English. SyanYuu shared English-localization progress ahead of release, making the bilingual presentation part of the launch version rather than a later update.
Indonesian is not currently available, and no additional localization plans have been announced.
SyanYuu is credited for production, graphics, and BGM. The official pages separately disclose that generative AI was used for portions of the programming and scripts, while the visual and music credits remain assigned to SyanYuu.
That distinction makes the production breakdown unusually clear rather than simply applying a generic AI label to the entire project.
Free Press Kit and a ¥120 Supporter Edition
BOOTH provides three options. The base game is free, and a separate press kit is also free for streams, reviews, and game introductions.
A ¥120 supporter edition is available for players who want to support the creator. It includes illustrations and assorted 2D data used in the game, plus a bonus wallpaper illustration.
Gameplay videos, YouTube and Twitch livestreams, social-media coverage, and fan art are allowed without prior permission. Standard advertising revenue from streaming platforms is also permitted.
Creators are asked to include IMMORTABLE in the video title where possible and provide the game title, SyanYuu's name, and a game link in the description. Press-kit images may be cropped or resized for thumbnails, while unauthorized redistribution, modification, asset extraction, and using the assets for generative-AI training are prohibited.
Why This Matters
1) Six cards still create meaningful decisions
Unique effects and opponent behavior prevent numerical strength from being the only factor in each choice.
2) Each opponent has a recognizable tendency
Learning character behavior gives the game a prediction layer without relying on PvP.
3) Story and endurance modes serve different goals
Story Mode introduces the system in a short session, while the 50-Win Streak asks players to prove consistency over a much longer run.
4) One creator handles the core production
SyanYuu is credited for production, graphics, and BGM, keeping the game's central creative direction under one creator.

Closing
IMMORTABLE builds a prediction game from a deliberately small set of tools: six cards, numerical values, special effects, and opponents with different tendencies. Story Mode provides a quick path through the concept, while 50-Win Streak Mode gives players a reason to keep refining their reads.
The game is available free in browsers and on Windows with Japanese and English support. SyanYuu also provides open streaming guidelines, a free press kit, and an optional ¥120 supporter edition for players who want to support the project.
