Battle Yellow Draws from Wolverine’s Suit and Claws

The limited-edition hardware does more than apply Wolverine’s signature yellow color to a standard PS5.

Battle Yellow takes inspiration from the Battle Reborn suit created by Insomniac Games and from Logan’s adamantium claws. Three large slash marks tear across the console’s exterior, creating the appearance that Wolverine has physically ripped through its shell.

Those slashes use see-through sections that expose portions of the console beneath the cover. The matching DualSense carries the same aggressive claw motif across its yellow body.

Sony Interactive Entertainment also collaborated with Jock, the Scottish graphic artist who contributed to Marvel’s Wolverine key art. His hand-drawn ink work and comic-book style helped establish the rougher graphic language of the hardware.

The result deliberately avoids a clean, understated appearance. Its scratches, hard lines, and exposed sections lean into Logan’s violent visual identity.

The Bundle Includes the Game and Matching DualSense

The primary package contains a PS5 Digital Edition wearing the Battle Yellow design and one matching limited-edition DualSense Wireless Controller.

A digital voucher for Marvel’s Wolverine is included as well. PlayStation’s regional product page states that the voucher contains the game’s digital pre-order content:
