Morimens has begun unveiling character content for V2.6.0 with the introduction of a new Awakener named Caraboo. Her first official teaser presents her as a “Pale Fairy from faraway lands,” pairing the description with an immediately playful personality.
The other major reveal is her voice cast: Rie Kugimiya will portray Caraboo. For now, however, the announcement is focused almost entirely on her visual identity, dialogue, and voice actor rather than her combat kit.

Caraboo Announcement, Steam, Google Play, and Visuals

Caraboo Introduces Herself as a “Pale Fairy”
Morimens is not starting Caraboo's promotional cycle with damage values or lengthy skill descriptions. Her first appearance instead uses two short lines to establish how she talks.
Caraboo introduces herself as a “Pale Fairy from faraway lands” and asks whether the Keeper might be interested in learning more about her.
The second line is more mischievous. She claims that a fairy's blessing comes in different strengths depending on a person's “membership tier,” before ending with a teasing laugh.
It makes Caraboo sound almost like someone selling an exclusive subscription while deliberately playing with the person in front of her.
There is an important distinction, though: Morimens has not identified “membership tier” as a V2.6.0 system, resource, skill effect, or monetization mechanic.
At this stage, it appears in character dialogue. Turning the joke into a firm conclusion about her gameplay kit would therefore go beyond what has actually been announced.
Rie Kugimiya Voices the New Awakener
Morimens confirmed Rie Kugimiya alongside the first Caraboo character reveal.
With no combat demonstration attached yet, her performance is one of the headline elements being used to introduce the Awakener.
Caraboo's initial tone also creates a noticeable contrast with the darker world surrounding her.
That contrast fits Morimens particularly well. Its Awakeners can be elegant, charming, or even comedic on the surface while existing within a setting dominated by Dissolution, madness, body horror, and truths that human beings were never meant to comprehend.
How Caraboo's playful attitude changes once she enters the story or receives dedicated narrative content has not yet been explained.
Her Realm, Cards, and Banner Are Still Under Wraps
The V2.6.0 New Awakener label confirms where Caraboo belongs in the game's upcoming content cycle, but almost everything that determines how she plays remains unrevealed.
Her Realm has not been officially identified. Since Morimens builds its combat around four core Realms with distinct mechanics, that detail will eventually be one of the clearest indicators of which teams can use her effectively.
Her role, stats, exclusive cards, passives, Ultimate, and Realm interactions have not been shown either.
The same applies to a possible Wheel of Destiny, trial event, Awakening banner, and availability period.
That means her character art and “fairy's blessing” dialogue are not enough to label her as a damage dealer, support unit, defensive Awakener, or another archetype.
The exact release date for V2.6.0 is also absent from the current character reveal.
V2.6.0 Promotion Had Already Started Before Caraboo's Reveal
Caraboo is not the first official post to carry the V2.6.0 label.
Morimens previously published a deliberately over-the-top travel advertisement titled “The ‘Truly Breathtaking’ Snowy Peak 7-Day VIP Blitz!”
The post frames a trip to a snowy mountain like a suspiciously enthusiastic holiday package and talks about discounted guide fees paid in Gold Coins.
Caraboo's own reference to membership tiers and variable blessing levels uses a similarly commercial style of humor.
There is currently no official confirmation that the two posts belong to the same story event or are directly connected.
Still, both show that V2.6.0's promotional campaign is already developing an unusual vocabulary built around travel packages, fees, memberships, and questionable offers.
The actual relationship between those ideas should become clearer once a full Version Outlook or maintenance announcement is released.
Caraboo Is Joining a Deckbuilder Built Around Four Realms
Morimens is a Lovecraftian roguelite card battler in which players become a Keeper connected to Mythag University.
Its world is being slowly erased by a calamity known as Dissolution, forcing Keepers to bond with Awakeners and investigate events that push increasingly close to incomprehensible cosmic truths.
Combat revolves around character decks, cards, random events, relics, buffs, and roguelite exploration that can change from run to run.
Steam currently describes four distinct core Realms backed by a library of more than 185 cards.
That is why Caraboo's Realm and cards will ultimately matter as much as her raw numbers. A new Awakener can change deck construction depending on how her cards interact with resources, Realm rules, and other party members.
Those details are still waiting for a dedicated gameplay preview.
Steam Already Supports 17 Languages
Morimens is free-to-play on Steam, with mobile versions also available through Google Play and the App Store.
The Steam release currently lists 17 interface and subtitle languages, including English, Japanese, Korean, Indonesian, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
Steam also supports single-player, PvP, 33 achievements, in-app purchases, and Family Sharing.
The current minimum PC requirements list Windows 10 64-bit, an Intel Core i5-2500K or AMD FX-6300, 4 GB RAM, a GTX 960 or Radeon R9 280, DirectX 11, and 16 GB of available storage.
Why This Matters
1) Caraboo is being sold through personality first
Rather than opening with skill numbers, Morimens is establishing the character through her “Pale Fairy” identity and deliberately cheeky membership-tier dialogue.
2) Rie Kugimiya is central to the first reveal
Her casting is one of the few concrete details available at this stage, making voice performance part of Caraboo's initial identity.
3) V2.6.0 still has plenty left to reveal
Realm, cards, combat role, skills, Wheel of Destiny, banner timing, and the update's exact launch date all remain open questions.
4) The promotional humor clashes with Morimens' cosmic horror
Travel packages, membership tiers, and fairy blessings sound almost harmless, which makes them especially strange inside a world built around Dissolution and Lovecraftian catastrophe.

Caraboo's first reveal deliberately leaves almost every gameplay question unanswered. For now, Morimens has confirmed her place in V2.6.0, her “Pale Fairy” identity, her character design, and Rie Kugimiya as her voice actor.
Her Realm, cards, skills, Wheel of Destiny, banner period, and the exact update date remain to be announced. Until those details arrive, the membership-tier joke is better understood as part of Caraboo's characterization rather than a confirmed mechanical clue.
