Akihabara Gives Jig and Siasha Their Own Designs
The newest promotional push places Majo to Youhei inside two heavily traveled areas of Tokyo.
Advertisements are displayed at JR Ikebukuro Station and Tokyo Metro Akihabara Station. The Akihabara installation consists of two distinct panels rather than duplicates of the same artwork.
One focuses on Jig Crane, while the other highlights Siasha. The official photographs also incorporate manga imagery around the two leads, reinforcing their contrasting personalities and relationship.
The Ikebukuro display presents Jig and Siasha together while promoting the upcoming 2027 television adaptation.
The official announcement does not specify when the advertisements will be removed or provide a more precise concourse location, so their availability beyond the current campaign period should not be assumed.
Their Relationship Begins with a Fight to the Death
Majo to Youhei takes place on a continent where magic and magical beasts have disappeared.
One exception remains: the mysterious beings known as Witches, capable of using magic and consequently feared by society.
Veteran mercenary Jig Crane joins an expedition sent to kill one of them. Deep inside a forest, he encounters Siasha, the feared Silent Witch.
Their first meeting does not end in cooperation. Jig and Siasha engage in a brutal fight that nearly becomes fatal.
After Jig wins, Siasha makes an unexpected request. Rather than asking for mercy, she hires him as her escort and asks to be taken somewhere no one will pursue her.
That contract begins a journey shared by two people who have both spent their lives outside ordinary society.
A New Continent Changes the Rules
Jig quickly realizes that finding a safe home for a Witch is nearly impossible on a continent where Siasha is deeply feared.
Their search eventually leads toward another continent whose existence was known but which only recently became accessible by sea.
There, the rules are different.
Magic, monsters, adventurers, guilds, and unfamiliar cultures remain part of everyday life. The combat abilities that made Jig exceptionally dangerous in his homeland do not automatically place him at the top of this new world.
Siasha is no longer the only supernatural anomaly either.
This transition turns a simple escort contract into a much broader journey in which both characters search for somewhere they can live.
Taito Ban and Saori Hayami Lead the Cast
Taito Ban voices Jig Crane, an imposing mercenary who has survived numerous battlefields through combat ability and ruthless practicality.
Saori Hayami voices Siasha, a Witch who has spent years in isolation because of the fear and hostility directed toward her existence.
Their developing relationship sits at the center of the story. Jig and Siasha do not immediately become inseparable companions; their trust grows after a relationship that literally begins with an attempt to kill one another.
Ahead of the broadcast, the production has also released original voice dramas supervised by the novel's author and additional short stories through the official anime website.
EIGHT BIT Produces the Animation
Shinpei Ezaki directs the adaptation, with Daishiro Tanimura handling series composition and scripts.
Keita Matsumoto is responsible for character design, Akiko Fujita serves as sound director, and Rei Ishizuka composes the music. Lantis handles music production.
Animation is being produced by EIGHT BIT.
The first teaser PV offers an early look at Jig and Siasha's confrontation and the adaptation's heavier fantasy atmosphere.
An exact premiere date, episode count, opening and ending themes, and domestic or international streaming services remain unannounced.
Manga Volume 9 Has Just Released
The anime promotion arrives alongside continued expansion of the source material.
Makoto Miyagi's manga adaptation released Volume 9 through Kodansha on August 7, 2026 and continues serialization through Magazine Pocket.
The original GCN Bunko novel is also moving toward Volume 8, scheduled for September 24.
That volume follows Jig and Siasha after their return to Halian, when they receive a request for assistance in Strigo following an increase in magical-beast activity.
The television anime has not revealed how far into the novel or manga its first broadcast will adapt.
Why This Matters
1) The campaign is moving into public spaces
The Ikebukuro and Akihabara displays take Majo to Youhei promotion beyond online trailers and social media.
2) Both leads receive individual attention
Akihabara's two designs give Jig and Siasha space to establish their personalities independently.
3) Their bond develops gradually
The story begins with a lethal confrontation before becoming an escort contract and, eventually, a shared journey.
4) The core production team is already established
The studio, director, two lead actors, teaser PV, and additional promotional material are public even though the exact premiere date remains unknown.
