New Manhwa 연하 늑대가 노리고 있다 (The Younger Wolf Is Aiming) Launches Exclusively on RIDI: A Straight-Line Romance of a Young Chaebol Who Fell in Love at First Sight

The Younger Wolf Is Aiming (연하 늑대가 노리고 있다 / Yeonha Neukdaega Norigo Itda) is a RIDI ONLY webtoon adapted from the romance novel by Geumgwi (금귀), with art by Dolphin (돌핀) and story adaptation by Gyeonghwan (경환) (ⓒ Gyeonghwan, Dolphin, Geumgwi / WisdomHouse). The webtoon is listed at a total of 12 episodes on RIDI's new-releases page with a 4.9 rating from 41 reviews, while the original novel has already completed (완결) and was celebrated with a dedicated event.

The story runs on a teasing romance premise: a young conglomerate director falls in love at first sight with an indifferent woman, then two weeks later joins her company as a junior on her very team — and from then on "aims" for her heart shamelessly, like a young wolf that has already chosen its target.

An Adult Romance Webtoon Available Only on RIDI

The title is registered as a RIDI-exclusive work — its official page carries the marker "리디에만 있는 독점 작품!" ("an exclusive work only on RIDI"), and RIDI's webtoon recommendation page features it in a "독점 론칭! 3일 한정 전원 포인트백" banner (exclusive launch with point-back for all buyers for 3 days). The webtoon's book page is gated behind adult verification (성인 인증), marking it as adult romance content.

On pricing, RIDI's new-releases list records 300 won to rent and 500 won to own per episode, 2,400 won for full rent, and 6,000 won for full ownership. A 4.9 rating with 41 reviews is a strong early signal for a title still in its initial serialization phase.

The Premise: "Not My Number… Just My Name!"

The official tagline on RIDI's new webtoon list sums it up: "[무심한 여주에게 첫눈에 반한 재벌 연하남의 직진 로맨스]" — a straight-line (직진) romance of a younger chaebol man who fell in love at first sight with an indifferent heroine.

The official synopsis opens with an iconic scene: "It's not like I'm asking for your number…… just your name! Is that really not allowed?" The man who suddenly appears hands over a business card reading 'Cheon Ha-gyeong, Director of Cheonhae Group' (천해그룹 이사 천하경). Cheonhae Group does have three sons — but someone this young and this handsome? Surely a fraud pretending to be a chaebol? "Goodbye." That is how the heroine, In-a (인아), parts with the mysterious man. Two weeks later, he joins the management support team where In-a works — and becomes her junior (후임) at the office.

From Completed Novel to Webtoon: Geumgwi's Legacy

The work began as Geumgwi's web novel serializing on RIDI from November 4, 2021 (★4.4) and later completed, celebrated with the [추첨 포인트] 완결! event inviting per-episode comments. The e-book followed on February 2, 2022 (★3.9), and the novel's promo event used the tagline "A puppy-like younger wolf is aiming?" with the hashtag #대형견남 ("large-dog type man").

Reader reviews on the RIDI pages cement the tone: webtoon readers praise "the male lead is totally large-dog material" and "the younger man is so cute"; novel readers call it "cheesy lol but I can't put it down" and "a cutie only for the heroine… but now loaded with schemes" and "young-and-rich-and-handsome-and-scheming" — an addictive sweet romcom, not a heavy drama.

Why This Matters

1) Popular tropes played straight

Love at first sight, a younger chaebol male lead, a cold heroine, and a 직진 pursuit at work — the most sought-after modern romance combination.

2) A "young wolf" male lead with a large-dog soul

Instead of a cliché cold heir, readers describe the 남주 as a big puppy: adorable before the heroine, yet his gaze turns sharp when she is not around — a contrast that fuels his appeal.

3) A completed source novel = a guaranteed whole story

The webtoon adapts a novel that has already finished, celebrated with a 완결 event, so webtoon readers have assurance the story has a definite ending.

4) Highly rated from the start and easy to try

A ★4.9 webtoon rating plus the [전원 증정] 론칭! launch event granting points to every reviewer make this exclusive title low-risk for romance readers to sample.
