Joining Game Pass on October 29
Xbox has placed FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE in its next Game Pass lineup. Beginning October 29, the game is listed for Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Eligible plans listed by Xbox are Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass. The announcement is therefore about subscription access rather than another platform launch.
The Xbox Version Has Been Available Since January
Square Enix launched FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC on January 22, 2026, alongside the Nintendo Switch 2 edition.
The Xbox release supports Xbox Play Anywhere. Its Xbox Store listing also includes 4K Ultra HD, HDR10, 60fps+, Spatial Sound, achievements, and cloud saves.
The Midgar Remake Plus Yuffie's Episode
FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE rebuilds the opening Midgar portion of the 1997 RPG through the point where Cloud and his allies escape the city, using a battle system that combines real-time action with strategic commands.
INTERGRADE also includes FF7R EPISODE INTERmission, a side story starring Yuffie Kisaragi as she infiltrates a Shinra facility during events that run parallel to Cloud's journey.
The First Part of the Remake Project
Square Enix identifies FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE as the first game in its three-part remake project. INTERGRADE serves as the expanded version of that first installment on current platforms.
Its October Game Pass arrival now provides another way to enter the opening chapter of the remake project while the title remains in the service's catalog.
Why This Matters
1) Game Pass gets the Intergrade package
Access includes not only the REMAKE main story but also FF7R EPISODE INTERmission starring Yuffie.
2) Xbox and PC share the same ecosystem
The release supports Xbox Play Anywhere, while Game Pass lists both Xbox Series X|S and PC access.
3) Cloud is also included
Xbox officially lists Cloud alongside console and PC availability beginning October 29.
