A New Control Guide for Mouse, Keyboard, and Gamepad

The update adds a dedicated screen explaining all three main input methods. Players can switch between mouse, keyboard, and gamepad layouts through separate tabs.

The guide can be opened from LANG/SOUND on the title screen or through SETTINGS while playing. SETTINGS itself is now accessible in more situations, including battles, conversations, Interaction, and Develop.

Save Points Are Easier to Track

Project Solaris now shows the last save point directly in the status area beneath the day and Gold information.

The indicator briefly lights up whenever a save occurs. Returning to the title screen with Esc or Start also brings up a confirmation window showing the most recent save point before leaving the current session.

Equipment and Buff Information Is Clearer

Solaris's weapon icons and Hom's equipment icons now provide pop-ups with item names, descriptions, and related buffs.

Descriptions for Harden, M-Barrier, and Wrath have also been connected more clearly to Guard, M-Guard, and Angry, making status information easier to read during reward selection and combat.

Keyboard and Gamepad Navigation Has Been Refined

The Y-button browse mode now follows a revised navigation order in battle. Replay Rewards can be opened with View on gamepad or R on keyboard, while LB is now dedicated to changing pages in Develop.

Dialogue advancement has also been standardized to the Confirm input: Z, Enter, or Space on keyboard and A on gamepad.

Why This Matters

1) The changes affect frequently used parts of the game

Controls, saving, navigation, and status information are systems players interact with throughout every run.

2) The demo receives the same improvements

Players testing Project Solaris can use the updated usability features before moving to the full version.

3) Combat information is easier to inspect

Equipment pop-ups and clearer buff relationships reduce the amount of information players need to memorize.
